Meeting SA MH RS PB DH

This is a new role within our finance team to support the growing business. The Management Accountant role is pivotal in managing the day-to-day financials for the company and providing accurate financial information to support management with strategy, forecasting and budgeting. Overseeing and verifying the AP and AR roles within the team and collaborating with the client facing teams to enhance financial efficiencies.
We offer a hybrid working model and employees may work from home for up to two days per week.

Management of the day-to-day accounting operations including:<ul><li>Supervision and support of accounts receivable and accounts payable</li><li>Credit control</li><li>Calculate and prepare monthly revenue recognition from general ledger upload</li><li>Monthly SOFP and IS reconciliations</li><li>Prepare and post journal entries into the Sage Intacct general ledger within the monthly reporting timetable including revenue accounting, accruals, prepayments, direct cost of sales</li><li>Liaise with teams across the business and provide assistance and support to bring greater efficiencies in the way we operate</li><li>The ability to monitor and maintain cash management</li><li>Management of fixed asset register and monthly posting of financial depreciation</li><li>Management of prepaid expense amortisation</li><li>Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information under IFRS</li><li>Identification and management of financial risks and opportunities</li><li>Preparation and production of accurate reports and dashboards for use by the management teams and company</li><li>Board Compliance with financial regulations and internal policies</li><li>Preparation of quarterly VAT submissions – reconciliation between GL and VAT report</li><li>Coordinate with various parts of the business to collect required data to generate reports</li></ul>

<ul><li>Proven experience as a Management Accountant in a similar role</li><li>In-depth knowledge and experience of previously working with Sage Intacct</li><li>Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA) - late part qualified will be considered for this role</li><li>A good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards</li><li>Ability to approach technical problems in a thorough and logical manner</li><li>Ability to take initiative</li><li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy alongside excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills</li></ul>
