This Support Officer role is full time within the Strategy in Life Sciences service line and will be appointed to work in a government department, working in the clients Technical Services Planning Function whose role is to support the strategic development and management of the client’s estate. 
The Officer will report to the service line Director and provide general support and assist in the planning and administration of the Technical Services Planning Function daily operations, facilitate effective and efficient delivery of the Functions services and ensure clients enquiries and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
The post holder will be required to work at least 3 days per week, with the rest of the team, at this major government life sciences site in Weybridge, Surrey.

You will be involved in the following:<ul><li>Coordinate and arrange regular Team, Working Group and Board meetings, workshop and information reviews</li><li>Manage meeting, from beginning to end, including preparation of agendas, taking minutes, action tracking and preparing slide packs</li><li>Support the Planning Function with the preparation of and implementation of project execution plans, workflows and co-ordinating monthly reports / dashboards, risk registers</li><li>Document proof reading and assisting in the development of output reports</li><li>Manage the data environment (SharePoint) for the team and ensure a robust document management process is in place and managed effectively</li><li>Assist in the development and improvement of current and new systems and processes to enhance service delivery and provide best practice capabilities</li><li>Professionally manage own workload to ensure that all tasks and on-going workloads are prioritised and completed within agreed timeframes</li><li>Able to carry out initial checking of own work and ensures that outputs meet the required standard</li></ul>

<ul><li>Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferable</li><li>Experience in undertaking a similar role in a professional environment </li><li>Prior experience supporting delivery of construction schemes or estate development in a life science setting or similar</li><li>Politically astute and able to deal with a range of clients and situations</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Excellent organisational and written presentation skills</li><li>Good analytical skills and logical thinking</li><li>High levels of adaptability and able to manage pressurised workload</li><li>A good team player</li><li>Excellent literacy in Microsoft Office products and specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Well-developed experience with customer orientated outlook and Sharepoint</li><li>Evidence of recent Continuous Professional Development</li></ul>
